No Data Collection

Chromato Lab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer or to third parties.

The app has no networking code and communicates with no server. The 27 reference pigments are embedded in the app; all analysis works offline.

Camera and Photos

For an analysis you photograph your chromatogram, or alternatively use an image from your photo library. iOS asks for the corresponding permissions. Band detection and Rf calculation run entirely on-device via CoreImage — the images never leave the device.

Analyses and Reports

Your analyses are stored locally using SwiftData. The PDF lab report is generated on-device and is only passed on if you send it yourself through the iOS share sheet.

No Analytics or Advertising

The app contains no analytics SDKs, advertising libraries, tracking pixels, or similar technologies. No user tracking takes place.

Apple App Store

The app is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple may collect device-related data under its own privacy policy, available at: apple.com/privacy
