No Data Collection
Pheno Lab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer or to third parties.
The app has no networking code, calls no external interfaces, and embeds no third-party services.
Observations on Your Device
Your observations, photos, and evaluations are stored locally on the device using SwiftData. iCloud synchronisation is not enabled in the current version of the app, so the data stays on the device and is removed when you delete the app.
Camera and Photos
For evidence photos of your observations the app asks for camera and photo library access. The images are attached to the respective observation locally and are not transmitted.
Location
Optionally the app locates observations geographically and asks for your location for this. Coordinates are stored locally with the observation only and are not transmitted. The permission can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
Notifications
For seasonal reminders the app asks permission to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally on the device; no push service is used.
Performance Data (MetricKit)
The app subscribes to MetricKit, Apple's system service for performance and crash reports. The operating system hands the reports directly to the app; the app neither stores them nor forwards them to the developer or third parties.
No Analytics or Advertising
The app contains no analytics SDKs, advertising libraries, tracking pixels, or similar technologies. No user tracking takes place.
Apple App Store
The app is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple may collect device-related data under its own privacy policy, available at: apple.com/privacy
