No collection by the provider

Terraristik OS transmits no personal data to Wender Media. There is no provider server, no analytics service, no advertising and no third-party SDK. The app contains no networking code that sends content anywhere.

Stored on your device only

Animal records, racks, feeding and shedding logs, quarantine entries, readings and photos are stored locally with SwiftData on your device. There is no sync via iCloud or any other service. Back your data up through your regular device backup.

Bluetooth and climate sensors

At your request the app reads temperature and humidity from nearby sensors (such as SensorPush or SwitchBot) to show the climate in your terrariums. The connection runs directly between your device and the sensor. The readings stay local; no location data and no device identifiers are sent to the provider.

Camera

The camera is used only when you scan a QR label on a terrarium, box or rack to open the matching animal record. The scan runs through the iOS code scanner (VisionKit) and reads nothing but the link. No image is stored and none is transmitted.

Animal photos

Photos for an animal record are chosen through the iOS photo picker. It runs outside the app, so Terraristik OS never gains access to your whole library — only to the image you pick. The chosen photo is stored locally with the record.

Notifications

Reminders for feeding, weighing or quarantine checks are scheduled locally on the device. No push service is involved, and the provider learns nothing about your schedule.

Subscriptions

The premium subscription (monthly or yearly) runs through Apple's StoreKit 2 and is verified on device. Payment and billing data is processed exclusively by Apple; the provider receives no payment data.

No tracking, no advertising

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising libraries and no tracking pixels. There is no App Tracking Transparency tracking, and no data is shared with third parties.

Apple App Store

The app is downloaded through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect device-related data under its own privacy policy, which you can find at: apple.com/legal/privacy

Your rights

You can delete all data in the app at any time. Since nothing is stored off the device, uninstalling the app removes every record completely.
